Jump!

Yay It's Friday!!

It's been, as a whole, a good day! Following a lovely text and email conversation with Lydia my day seemed to stay okay. There were no important people in the office, so the atmosphere was light and humerous, and little work was done! Generally not a bad day so far!

I decided to pop to B&Q to look for a wood chisel which was easy enough, but I ended up buying a rather large 3,500,000 candle power spotlight, which will be on charge almost non-stop until this time Sunday.

Other than that, we are having a film night tonight which shall be good fun, watching Lydia's Miss Potter' which I'm looking forward to.

That's about it today really. More info to follow tomorrow!

Yawn

It hasn't been a great day, I have achieved nor conquered anything at work, and then came home.

I thought a quick round of solo golf would sort me out, but I seem to have torn a muscle in my side, which is now giving me grief with breathing. I was also rubbish at golf.

And I am also worried sick about Lydia who seems so unhappy at the moment and there is nothing I can do about it. I understand so little and I just want her to be happy. I know it will all work out gorgeous.

Anywho, back to a seriously un-constructive day of emptiness.

Sorry for all the glum-ness, but I really don't have anything positive to take from today, other than emailing Lydia throughout the day which, as always, was a true pleasure.

Night night folks

Lovely Lydia

It's Wednesday already! I was completely convinced it was Tuesday today until about lunchtime. Worrying times! Anyway, it's been a very very busy day. Following a less than moral boosting prep talk from the 'manager' on 'how to manage my day' (what a prat) this morning, the day didn't get any easier. I haven't stopped since 8 this morning yet I don't feel I've achieved anything! It seemed to get really hectic at about 16:55 so I was running between floors like a lunatic trying to sort things out and didn't manage to leave unil nearly 20 past. Sigh!

Anywho, still got this evening to come which I'm sure will be really good as always! I'd better get in the shower or end up smelling, which I'm sure won't go down well with Dom and the lovely Lydia!

Toodles for now!

Udders

...is about the only remotely random title I can think of beginning with 'U'!!

Anyway! It's been a busy day with not a lot to report so far - just a very average day in the office. I seem to have more on than ever, so not looking forward to going in tomorrow but there we go. I haven't even got anything to say about it really. Just been one of them days!

Looking forward to 20:30 though. Seeing Lydia and possibly Dom if he fancies it!

I'll update the post a bit later on today!!

Offski!

Jeopardy

It has been a rather odd day! I knew today was going to be different but I had no idea I would be in so much peril!

I got up early this morning to ensure a prompt arrival for collection at the office at 8, which means getting up at 5:45 which is far too early! However, my drowsiness only lasted until about 8:05 when we left for the first job, as I found myself in the front seat of a 5 year old Pug with shot brakes doing 80mph+ down single track country lanes and braking later that I thought possible :S. We arrived at the first appointment at 08:06... or so it felt, however it was nearly 9 and I had been concentrating so hard on surviving I hadn't noticed!

There was nothing interesting about the first visit, other than some of the homeowners didn't get along and so were just hurling abuse at each other. Sure it's tedious but it filled an hour which means I had to get back in the car...

10:07!! : P Next appointment. This time in Eastleigh. I can't even remember this one! That's not good really seeing as I did the report a few hours ago.
Then again, after the last visit, consisting of a trip into a newly burnt out council house, all boarded up and falling down, it isn't surprising I can't remember.

We had to undertake a survey of the property, including breaking down the asbestos (Artex) ceilings with a spade in the pitch dark with a full Haz-Mat suit on.
All quite exciting really, being covered in asbestos! Walking on floors that you had just been smashing was also quite disconcerting, as was being told upon arrival that squatters may be inside and that I may only enter at my own risk under the understanding that I could protect myself if there were any such creatures lurking within. Thankfully there weren't!

In striking contrast, this evening was consumed by being tonked at glof, again, and relaxing and 'canoodling' with my gorgeous girlfriend!! Yay!

Anywho, I'm hoping that tomorrow will be much more average!

'Fill-in' Blog

Hi all.

Been an interesting day. I can't really remember this morning but we had a trip out this afternoon and was lovely.

All else is good.

Sorry for a pathetic excuse of a 'blog'.

Out of time

I've just ready through this, and it is a wee bit daft. I haven't written anything! FLAIL!
Oh well, I can't do anything about it now because I can't remember what happened that day!

Perhaps it's just a 'fill-in' blog! : P

Independence

Here we go then! 4th July, Independence Day! Spent the best part of this afternoon with an American Family, so that was good. Have been lounging around in the garden in the sun with temperatures reaching 36'c at 15:48 this afternoon. HOT! It has been enjoyable but generally quite quiet, until 17:22, when we had a formation flyover by the Red Arrows, which was quite cool!!

(Both of those photos are ones I have taken this afternoon, and are not downloaded to illustrate a point!)

I can't really believe its 19:11 already! I haven't even been up 7 hours yet and I've already celebrated Independence Day for the first time and seen the Red Arrows! But no doubt the best is yet to come. I've got about 30mins to write this and shower before being at the Bold Forester for 8 to meet Dom, Mike and Matt, I think. I don't really know who is going to be there but it should be good anywho.

However I think the highlight of the day will be after the pub, where I will once again, but privileged enough to spend more time with my gorgeous and fantastic other half Lydia. I can't wait to see you!! <3

So the best is yet to come. Roll on shower time!!

Delightful!

Day 3! Already! It'll all be over tomorrow at this rate!

Not done an awful lot today so far, spent a teeeedious
few hours at work this morning and continued to fail
miserably at doing things on time! But that all seems
like an eternity ago now! I came home for about 13:00ish,
I can't remember what time exactly, and bumped into 'The Doood' in
Dibden! Well, not literally, I just flagged him down!
Sorry if your chips were cold by the time you got round to devouring them though!

Returned home to the shell of a house where once again,
mess and devastation reigned and not a single specimen
of human in sight, so I let the dogs in while being dribbled
and jumped on. Spent an hour of so watching Top Gear
on iTunes and then had a really quick shower before
leaving the nest to go hunt for ice cream. I thought I'd be
a little bit cocky at this point and drive around the
'Road Closed' sign on Roman Road thinking it didn't apply
to me, which was a bit dim. It was only at the point I got
flagged down by the workers that I gave in, seeing as
they had blocked the road and I couldn't get through
even if i tried.
I was forced to turn around! Flail!

After a short detour, half way round stupid Dibden, I turned up
10mins late for the ice cream expedition, but fret not!
Considering we didn't leave until 20past, all was not lost! It
was worth the wait though - my first ice cream didn't last
me too long, and following pointless running up all down a
hill by the cricket pitch with no obvious motivation, I soon folded
under the temptation to buy another! Yay! The new Ferrari California
in Lyndhurst is AWESOME as well!

So here we are, all sat in the garden, on the laptops, writing blogs!
Oh well, they will be here to take me back to the 'Safe House'
soon. Hopefully not before the wedding tonight. Not
my wedding may I add. That time will come and I can't wait!!
Truth be told, I can't remember any of the names of the
people I need to remember so I guess I'll just call everyone
male 'Steve', and everyone female 'Steve'.

Should be a laugh! : )

Anywho, yabber yabber yabber! Time to stop doing stuff for 10mins today!

Back again tomorrow!!

Jubilant!

Here we are then!! Day 1: or what's left of it!

Been a fairly average day for the most part, and then I
came home! Ha!
Had a lovely picnic with Lydia at Anderwood after I failed
miserably thinking I could find a better spot in Burley (which is lovely)
but carp for picnics! But nonetheless, Anderwood was lovely also.
Not including the invasion of little polish tourists vacating their
native land via means of coach and mini bus.

Anywho, following this was slightly less than a few hours with
'The Doood' and lovely Lydia where many bits of films where
watched and many crisps lost their lives.

Moment of silence...

Fantastic day as a whole then : )

Not sure what tomorrow will hold, but no matter how
carp the day is going to be, I know that I'll be able to
come home and go out with the best people on earth
and my lovely, gorgeous and wonderful perfect soulmate
*Brownie points*Brownie points*Brownie points*!!! : P
I hope there aren't too many silly people that want to
watch Ice Age tomorrow! It's going to be great!

Happy 1st JEDI!!!
